My services address a critically unmet need within the sales and recruiting fields. Most salespeople face the dual pressures of meeting leadership’s expectations and competing with colleagues. This dynamic leaves little room for intentionally developing technical skillsets, asking questions and soliciting feedback without judgment, and managing the challenging psychological impact of the career (this job is hard!). I started my business to help fill this gap.

I provide sales and recruiting coaching, individual career coaching, and recruiting consulting for businesses.

Alexa Katz is a sales, recruiting, and career strategist. Her career began with a passion for creating and building relationships and has evolved into a commitment to the growth and development of people.

Throughout my career at a top-performing recruiting agency in New York City, I absorbed a diverse range of approaches and styles that enabled me to succeed in a high-pressure sales career. Learning how to navigate the endless nuances of selling was what I loved most about the job. With Oomph, I am helping others to do just that, through an unbiased approach that creates room for development and career sustainability that is lacking in the industry.

My style of coaching is honest, direct, empathetic, and motivating. I am results-driven and aim to help clients increase engagement, develop stronger relationships, close more deals, and reach the next step in their careers.

Other areas in which I provide services include individual career coaching (helping people of all levels manage and progress in their careers) and recruiting consulting for businesses (helping businesses improve their recruiting and hiring efforts).
